Santa Cruz Horseback Riding is Santa Cruz County’s premier location for horseback riding. We take an approach to training which enables riders of all skill sets to prosper. Prior to starting, an assessment will be done to determine which skill set you fall into. This enables us to guide you on the right path toward a fun and successful experience.
This may be your first time or you may have ridden for 30 years, but in either case you will walk away having learned something new, or at minimum, refined old skills.
Horseback Riding Improves Self-Confidence & Leadership Skills
Horseback riding has proven to be an effective way to improve an individual’s self-confidence and leadership qualities. Since horses are literally ten times the size of most humans it is nearly impossible to physically control an animal of this stature. However, people of all ages, shapes and sizes do it every day. What makes them different from everybody else?
At Santa Cruz Horseback Riding, we specialize in horseback riding lessons. If you want to learn, we can teach you. All ages and all skill sets are welcome. Whether you are a seasoned pro or someone looking to get your feet wet for the first time, we can help.
The self-confidence you obtain from learning to get a beautiful horse in your full-control, is like no other. At Santa Cruz Horseback Riding it is routine to see new clients come in with their head down, with poor eye-contact & with slumped shoulders; only to leave our facility beaming with self-confidence and pride.
A Connection that will Change Your Life
When learning to ride, you will form a bond with the horse. This bond and connection is so powerful that many alternative mental practices are turning to equine therapy for a the answer to depression, mental illness and even drug-addiction.
